RENTAL FAQ’s :

IS THERE A REFUND IF I RETURN THE RENTAL EARLY?

No, there is no refund for early returns.

Are Helmets Provided?

Yes.
Note: Any persons under the age of 18 is required to wear helmets in our UTV’s. Over the age of 18 is suggested but not required.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS A UTV BREAKDOWN?

If cell phone service is available, call or text us with details about what happened. Our machines are equipped with GPS trackers that we can use to acquire your location. If damage occurs due to negligence of renter, a retrieval fee of $150 will be charged to renter plus any machine damages not covered under the optional insurance package.

WHAT ABOUT FUEL?

Our UTVs and snowmobiles will be full at the time of your rental and do not need to be returned filled.

Written Deposit Policy?

A $50 deposit is required at time of booking on UTV’s, snowmobiles, bikes (unless total of bike reservation is under $50) and lodging. Shuttle Service requires a $100 deposit. All bookings must be paid in full before arrival.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

Cancellation policy: If cancellation is made 48 hours or less, there will be no refunds and guests are responsible for the full cost of the rental for UTV, snowmobiles, e-bikes, and non e-bikes. A $50 cancellation fee will be charged if cancelled prior to 48 hours for the following: e-bike, non e-bike, UTV, and snowmobile rentals. Cancelled one hour bike rentals will only be charged $25 if cancelled 48 hours or less. Lodging cancelled 48 hours or less will be charged $50. A $100 fee will be assessed to The Mickelson Trail Shuttle cancellations. If shuttle cancellations occur 48 hours or less prior to scheduled shuttle, the guest is responsible for the full cost of their scheduled shuttle. No refunds will be given. However, we will be happy to offer you a credit to ride another time, or you can transfer the reservation to friends or family. If for any reason we cancel your reservation, a full refund will be given. No shows on all rentals will be charged 100% of the reservation.

Mickelson Trail

The Mickelson Trail is a 109-mile bike path from Deadwood to Edgemont with 4 tunnels and more than 100 converted railroad bridges. The trail is a great way to see the Black Hills National Forest. Let us help with your Mickelson Trail Adventure!

Mickelson Trail Shuttle service

Shuttle service offered from May 1st to November 15th weather permitting. The shuttle departs Deadwood at 9:00 a.m. and last pick-up is 3:00 p.m. Shuttle requires advanced planning and cannot be booked online. This is a Call to Book Option Only! Prices are based on a group of 1-10 persons, not individual.

Lodging

Our Budget Friendly Rooms are furnished with mini fridge, TV, queen size beds, linens, towels and toiletries. There is a communal area for all our guests to use for cooking, coffee and gathering. Deadwood Outdoor Rentals has high-speed wi-fi internet. Washer and dryers are available in Building B. No smoking in rooms. There is a $15 nightly pet fee. We have plenty of free trailer parking available for guests and provide easy access to the Mickelson and national forest trails. We are conveniently located right on the infamous Mickelson Trail and Snowmobile Trail 7. Deadwood Trolley picks up and drops off right in our parking lot. Tokens available in the rental office. Please ask about long term parking while you bike the trail. We also offer a “Play and Stay” discount. Book a room and get 10 percent off your e-bike, non-electric bike, UTV or snowmobile rental.

Note: All room photos may not be of the exact room rented. Peak season requires a two-night stay.

General Policies

Office Hours are typically 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. from Spring to Fall. Call for off-season winter hours.
Lodging is open year around.
Kindly note, room photo may or may not be of actual room rental.
2-night minimum stay required. However the minimum stay requirement can be waived in the off-season. Please call for extended stay pricing and availability.

Lodging Check-In

3:00 p.m. MT. Check in at Rental Office in Building A. If arriving after 5:00 p.m., please call the property directly for check-in instructions. Your room key code will be the last four digits of your booking phone number. If assistance is needed, go to Rentals Office located on the right side hall of Building A. After hours, call for assistance.
