Kindly note, Highway 385 will be under construction and closure which will involve detours and longer work arounds in 2025, and 2026.
The Mickelson Trail is a 109-mile bike path from Deadwood to Edgemont with 4 tunnels and more than 100 converted railroad bridges. The Mickelson Trail in Deadwood is a great way to see the Black Hills National Forest. Let us help with your Mickelson Trail Adventure! Shuttle service offered from May 1st to November 15th weather permitting.
The shuttle departs Deadwood at 9:00 a.m. and last pick-up is 3:00 p.m. Shuttle requires advanced planning and cannot be booked online. Please give us a call to work out your specific needs and pricing.
E-Bike and non-electric bike rentals are available onsite as well if needed. Trail permits are available in the rental office.

Rapid City Airport Shuttle Service Available to and from Deadwood:
Rapid City Regional Airport (RAP) to Deadwood. A $100 deposit required at time of booking. A credit card must be on file and balance paid in full before shuttle departure.

We had a great experience! We took the shuttle to Rochford and had the e-bikes for 3 hours to ride back to Deadwood. Everyone was very friendly and helped us have a great day.
